Our special collections are particularly notable, housing over 699,321 books, 20,000 theses and dissertations, and 12,000 periodicals. These include unique personal records, newspaper clippings, and art collections, many of which have been donated by generous benefactors over the years. Highlights include the Lokhitawadi Collection, featuring 12,000 books and journal back volumes, and an Art Collection donated by Ms. P.F. Pavari. Contributions from distinguished individuals like A.K. Priolkar, M.M.P. Kane, and Dr. B. Ambedkar significantly enrich our offerings.
